SP 0602-0702 AMPNEY CRUCIS AMPNEY PARK

11/40 Pumphouse on Ampney Brook

II

Two small pumphouse buildings formerly operating sluice and flow on
Ampney Brook. Probably C19. Coursed rubble stone with quoins,
stone slate roof. Small singe-storey structures. Round-arched
window with flush stone surround to west end of west shed.
Interiors and complete external view not accessible at time of
survey, but pumping machinery reputed to survive inside one shed.
