SP 0602-0702 AMPNEY CRUCIS HILCOT END

Formerly two cottages, now one house. Probably mid C17. Rubble
stone, stone slate roof, 3 stone stacks. Single range, single
storey and attic. Two gables to south, larger to left (former No
49) with blocked small rectangular apex light, 3-light stone
mullion with square hoodmould on first and ground floors. To
right, 2-light stone mullion with dripmould and 3-light below.
Small C20 gabled porch to left with new plank door and timber
lintel and 2-light casement with timber lintel to far left.
Original door to right hand cottage now glazed, recessed, with
timber lintel. Two gables to rear each with 2-light stone mullion,
with square hoodmould to back of former No 49 and small blocked
rectangular light above, on first floor only. Coursed rubble to
rear of former No 50.
