13/132 Gazebo at Croft House

GV II

Gazebo in north-west corner of garden. Late C18/early C19. Rubble
stone, low pyramidal slate roof with projecting wood eaves,
weathervane, lateral brick stack on north side. Two storeys.
Round-headed windows to east and west with brick voussoirs, 9-pane
single sashes with fixed radial glazed top. Round oculus to south
with radial glazing and brick surround, round-headed window below
with brick voussoirs, blocked semi-circular head and plain 9-pane
casement. Round-headed door to west also with brick voussoirs,
radial fanlight and 6-panel door, top 4 glazed, with probably
inserted carved stone head on bracket over door. Interior in good
condition with winding timber stair, and small iron fireplace on
each floor.
