House

GV II

Two adjoining houses forming one building. Late C19, probably
refronting an older fabric. Ashlar front on coursed rubble stone,
front roof too high to be visible, rear in stone slates to Terrance
House, asbestos cement slates to Hughendon House. Rendered and
brick end stacks, with central stone ridge stack raised in brick.
Single deep range of 3 storeys. Three windows, plain cambered
lights to second floor, round headed with moulding above imposts on
first floor, both 2/3/2-light stone mullions. Small stone eaves
cornice with ball flowers, and panelled plat band below first
floor. Ground floor has 2/4/2-light with doors between, with
continuous flat moulding and dropped keystones. Round-headed
lights with circle and mouchettes above each, below flat moulding.
Doors have shouldered arches and plain fanlights and C20 doors.
