Chest tomb. Edmonds family, late C18. Limestone. Square with large cross-gabled very flat pitched cap over deep projecting cornice with plain modules, with plain frieze supported by 4 squat unfluted Doric corner columns, with "stylobate" now at ground level. Inscriptions between on plain panels incised with Greek key pattern to corners, -------Edmonds 1789 (?) to west; John 1819 to north; Elizabeth 1842 to east. An unusual and complete design although with some weathering, especially to columns, with strong reference to the work of Ledoux. 1,960 x 2,010mm, c.1,630mm high.
