of buildings at Leafield Farm

GV II

Barn. Late C18. Coursed and square stone, apparently partly
drystone construction, with alternating flush quoins, stone slate
roof. Large projecting gabled cart entry to east with timber
lintel but no doors, and with small former doorway with timber
lintel on left hand return. Opposed flush entry with timber
lintel. All doorways now with corrugated plastic. Scattered
square vents. One of 2 well preserved buildings in a formerly much
larger good farm group.
