Formerly four cottages in row of six originally named Tinkers' Row,
the other two now known as Tinkers' Cottage (q.v.) in Milton
Street. Late C18, Tinkers' Cottage dated 1785. Random coursed
rubble stone, stone slate roof, stone stacks raised in brick.
Single long range with central rear lean-to, single storey and
attic. Restored. Three small gables together in centre on east
side, each with paired 6-pane casements, and with small single 4-
pane light to outer side of each cottage on first floor. Ground
floor has one 3-light casement to each, and plank door. All with
timber lintel except for concrete lintel over front door to No 3.
