5/51 Hesters Barn

II

Field barn. Early C19. Thin coursed rubble stone with
alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof. South side has lean-
tos forming catslide flanking projecting central hipped cart entry
with dressed quoins and timber lintel, with window on each side of
entry in lean-tos. No doors visible. North side has opposed
flush entry with timber lintel. No doors visible. Scattered
square vents. Interior full of hay at time of survey (September
1985) and not accessible.
