5/93 Nos 1 and 2 Ranbury Cottage

GV II

Formerly single cottage of C18, extended to right in late C19.
Random coursed rubble stone, stone slate roof, brick end stacks and
large central ridge stack originally an end stack for No 1. Single
long range of 2 storeys, with rear outshut forming catslide to No 1
only. Three windows to No 1, two to No 2, all paired 8-pane
casements with central one on No 1 smaller. Two similar to ground
floor to both cottages, flanking central recessed plank doors with
small light, all with concrete lintels. Windows to No 1 all have
flush quoin surrounds. Straight joint in stone marks division.
