9/103 Cottage immediately to south of
Pear Tree Cottage

GV II

Detached cottage. Mid C19. Coursed rubble stone, stone slate
roof, stone end stacks. Single front range, with rear extension
partly of C20. Two storeys. Three gables to front, below each a
2-light stone mullion with square hoodmould and original iron
lattice casements. Two similar on ground floor flanking central
gabled ashlar porch with square hoodmould above square arch and
with C20 inner door. Forms good group on this side of the road
with Pear Tree Cottage (q.v.) to north and Hampton Cottage (q.v.)
to south.
