8/106 Nos 51 and 52 Down Ampney

Pair of semi-detached cottages. Mid C19. Coursed rubble stone,
stone slate roof, stone end stacks. Single front range with
parallel rear range to No 52 on right and range at right angles on
rear of No 51. Single storey and attic. Four small gables, each
with 2-light stone mullion with square hoodmould and original iron
lattice casements. Same on ground floor. Gabled porches between
windows of each cottage with flush stone chamfered opening and
plank inner doors. Small iron glazing bar casements on both
returns. Rear brick and rendered stacks. Although modest these
cottages are complete as built.
