House. c.1700 or earlier. Rubble with ashlar quoins; Cotswold stone roof with
end chimneys, the right hand one ashlar with moulded capping, coped verges. 2
storeys and attics. 3 gabled dormers. 3 mullioned windows with drips, 2 & 3
light on 1st floor, 4-light on ground floor plus a 2-light flat mullion, window
next to door (the latter a mid-C19 alteration cutting through plinth when house
was sub divided). Chamfered plinth, returned down at each end. Lower C20 exten-
sion to north (not included). 1 range of windows in gable end to south and one
to rear (mullioned type). Kiftsgate Cottage is a lower set back 2 storey wing in
similar materials to west. Two 2-light mullioned windows on 1st floor, three
C19 windows on ground floor and doorway in part using the surround of a mullioned
window.
