C17, extended in early C19 in Cotswold style. Rubble on chamfered plinth,
Cotswold stone roof (slate to rear), coped verges and end chimneys. 2 gabled
half-dormers, 2-light chamfered mullion casements. 3 windows, chamfered mullion
type, outer 3-light, centre 2-light, on ground floor wooden mullions and arched
lintels. Central arched doorway with, probably C20, fluted pilasters, brackets
to architrave and simple fanlight. Short link to left to converted late C17
cottage. The latter is single storeyed with attic and Cotswold stone roof; gable
to right with bullseye window, gabled dormer in return to right; mullioned win-
dows survive to rear and to west gable end; the left hand front window segment-
headed with keystone. Interior: main house has plain square-headed fireplaces;
cottage has in main section a large beam with chamfered joints. Both parts
roofed with 2 rows of 'butt' purlins.
