1/60 Little Windrush Cottage
(formerly listed as Tudor Cottage)
Detached house. C17 (built in two phases). Limestone rubble,
concrete tile roof, ashlar stacks, one repaired in brick. Complex
plan. Garden front; 1½ storeys. Gable off-centre left, later
wing with 2 Cotswold dormers left, single Cotswold dormer right of
gable. Two and 3-light double-chamfered, stone-mullioned casements
some with hoods. C20 part-glazed door off-centre left. Roadside
front; 2 gables facing road, left-hand gable lit by two 2-light
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods.
Right-hand gable with 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned
casement with hood to ground floor. Two-light steel casement
above. Wing set back at right angles right, lit by single 2-light
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement. All windows with C20
leaded panes. Roof; gable end and axial stacks with moulded
cappings. Interior not inspected.
