No 19 and 9 (the Post Office at time of listing), semi-detached.
No 19; late C18. No 9; mid C17-early C18, extended and restored by Acland family 1939.
Both parts coursed squared and dressed limestone with stone stacks. Concrete tile roof to No 19, stone slate roof to No 9. Rectangular plan to both parts. Single storey lean-to at rear of No 19 not of special interest. No 19; two storeys and attic, lit by single C20 roof dormer. Three-windowed facade; two and three-light stone-mullioned casements to ground and first floor. Stone hoods over ground floor windows. C19 plank door lower right, single pane set within door. Gabled stone canopy supported on wooden brackets over door. Stack with moulded capping at left gable end. No 9 right; two storey, three-windowed facade. C20 two and four-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements to first floor. Ground floor (formerly a dairy) lit by two and three-light stone-mullioned casements one with stopped hood. Central C19 plank door within flat-chamfered surround. Gable end stacks.
Interiors not inspected.
No 9 included primarily for group value, its extension and restoration being very sympathetic to its surroundings.
