Former open-fronted store with loft, open-fronted store and
probable former wash house in the grounds of Turkdean Manor (q.v.).
Former open-fronted store late C18, wash house C19. Open-fronted
store; coursed squared and dressed limestone. Wash house;
limestone rubble. Stone slate roofs. Long rectangular range;
open-fronted store with loft right linked to former wash house via
single storey open-fronted store. Open-fronted store; 5 formerly
open basket-headed bays in side facing away from Turkdean Manor.
Two bays with garage doors, the remainder now blocked with reused
2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped
hoods inserted in blocking. C19 plank door with fillets to first
floor of former open-fronted store reached via two flights of stone
steps. C19-C20 part-glazed stable door within basket-headed
surround beneath steps. Two-light stone-mullioned casement high up
in left and right gable ends. Three-bay single-storey open-fronted
store left, with square stone columns dividing bays. Right-hand
bay blocked, 2-light wood casement with diagonal leaded panes
inserted in blocking. Double garage doors to other bays. Two
plank doors with segmental-headed surrounds to wash house left,
single light and 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements
left. Axial stack to former wash house. Interiors not inspected.
