Detached cottage. Mid C17, C19 and C20. Limestone rubble, facade
of early core coursed squared and dressed limestone. Roof; stone
slate at front artificial stone slate at rear. Rectangular plan
to C17 core with C20 extension in similar style, at right gable
end. C19 extension at left gable end. Single storey C20 lean-to
at front of C17 and C20 range not of special interest. Main body
and C20 extension present a triple-gabled facade. C20 gable lit by
2-light steel casements, C17 gables lit by 3-light wood casements.
Ground floor obscured by C20 lean-to with C20 part-glazed door at
left-hand end. Glazed double door with horizontal glazing bars,
right. Single bay C19 extension left with 2-light casement with
glazing bars in segmental-headed surround to ground floor. Four-
pane casement to first floor.
Interior; open fireplace with bressumer and inglenook seat, spine
beam with moulded stops and stone flag flooring within C17 main
body.
