Detached farmhouse. Early C19 and later C19. Coursed squared and
dressed limestone, stone slate roof, C20 ashlar stacks.
Rectangular main body with projecting gable end stacks. Later C19
extension at right-angles at rear with former back kitchen linked
by covered passage to main body. 2 storeys and attic lit by 2
gabled roof dormers with 2-light casements. 3-windowed facade, all
12-pane sashes with drooping horns within plain surrounds. Central
4-panel front door with upper 2 panels glazed within segmental
headed surround.
Interior; washing copper and fireplace still in situ in back
kitchen.
