4/32 No. 13 (Daylesford Estate)
Detached estate house. c1890 for Charles Baring Young. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone and sandstone, stone slate roof.
Rectangular plan. Facade at right angles to road. 1 1/2 storeys.
Gable projects forwards slightly on left. Upper floor lit by 2-
light metal casement with stopped hood similar window to ground
floor. Some casements with patterned glazing some C20 plate glass
replacements. C19 plank door with strap hinges right of gable end
slightly curved stone canopy over supported on stone brackets.
Slightly stepped gable-end coping. Axial, cross-shaped composite
