Detached house. Late C17, early C18, C19 and C20. Coursed squared
and dressed limestone, stone of C18 part more finely dressed than
C17 part, stone slate roof, ashlar stacks, C20 extension not of
special interest. 'L'-shaped plan extending back rear left. C17
core at right end of facade, early C18 'L' shaped extension added
to left gable end, successive C19 and C20 extensions added to gable
at rear. 4-windowed facade C17 core; 2 storeys and garret, C18
extension; 2 storeys and attic lit by two C20 2-light roof dormers,
other windows 2,3 and 4-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned
casements with stopped hoods. C20 plank door with decorative
hinges off-centre right under gabled portico supported by 2
tapering square limestone columns with moulded caps. Saddleback
gable-end coping to C18 part, twin stack at left gable end. Roll
moulded gable-end coping and single stack at right gable-end. Twin
stack at rear of C17 core. Pigeon holes in rear wall of C18 part.
