9/81 Lower Farmhouse
GV II
Former farmhouse now detached house. Late C18-early C19 later C19
and C20. Ashlar, limestone slate roof, ashlar stacks. Main body
extends back rear right. C19 extension onto left gable end, C20
extensions in angle at rear not of special interest. 2 storeys and
attic lit by single 3-light roof dormer with leaded segmental head.
Symmetrical 3-windowed facade; mostly 16-pane sashes. Central C19
six-panel door with upper 4 panels glazed. C19 extension at lower
level on left, 2 storeys with 16-pane sash to upper floor. Roof of
main body and C19 extension hipped on left at front. Stack from
former left gable end and from axis rear right.
