Detached house. Mid-late C17, C19 and C20. Coursed squared and
dressed limestone, stone slate roof, ashlar stacks. 'L'-shaped
plain comprising rectangular main body with C19 extension attached
left; C20 extension attached at right angles onto right gable-end
of main body, not of special interest. C17 main body, 2 storeys
and attic lit by two 2-light C20 roof dormers. 2-windowed facade
lit by 3-light double-chamfered, stone-mullioned casements with
transoms and stopped hoods. C20 glazed door off-centre left. C19
extension; 1 1/2 storeys with 2 half dormers lit by 3-light double-
chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods. 2 and 3-
light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with transoms and
single light to ground floor. All windows in C17 and C19 parts
with leaded panes. Left gable-end stack and axial stack at former
gable-end of C17 main body. Flat gable-end coping, roll-cross
saddle at right gable-end.
