Former rectory, now detached house. C18-early C19, later C19 and
C20. Main body away from garden front of 2 builds suggesting C18
origins for this part of house or reuse of stone. Ashlar
limestone facade at rear, otherwise coursed squared and dressed
limestone, slate roof, ashlar stacks. Plan (described from garden):
rectangular main body with projecting porch at rear. C20 flat-
roofed extension left, later C19 extension set back right of main
body, C20 conservatory projecting forwards left. Symmetrical facade
to main body; 2:1:2 windowed all 12-pane sashes. Central bay
flanked by pilasters, similar pilasters at corners. Central
cartouche from parapet with sheaf of corn at centre by 'S' scrolls
either side of cartouche. Glazed central double door with light
over. 2-storey later C19 extension right with two 6-pane sashes
to first floor. Central, glazed door to C20 extension left
flanked by 12-pane sashes. Facade facing road; 3 storeys, 8-
windowed; 12-pane sashes to ground and first floors, 6-pane sashes
to second floor. Central projecting porch with part-glazed C20
door with glazing bars. Dentil decoration around front and sides
of porch. Cartouche similar to that on garden front above, but
without sheaf of corn. Parallel ridge roof to main body, double-
pitch roof to later C19 extension. Flat roof to C20 extension and
projecting porch. Gable-end stacks at ridge ends of main body.
