Barn and attached formerly open-fronted store. c1840, altered C20.
Coursed squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof.
Rectangular barn with two projecting porches later lean-tos added
either side of porches. Former open-fronted shed projecting at
right-angles far left. Plate glass windows lighting upper half of
bays of formerly open-fronted store. C20 walling below windows.
Double plank door to left porch, low C20 wall below door. C20
fixed metal casement with glazing bars above, gable dovecote above
window. Single width stable door right of porch. Double width
entrance with plank door to right-hand porch, gable dovecote over.
Triangular vents (now blocked) in walls.
Interior: wall divides barn into two 3-bay sections, original
collar and tie trusses at right-hand end. Similar trusses with
diagonal struts from upper surface of collars to principal rafters
at left end.
