II
Former semi-detached cottage now part of property called Corner
Cottage. C17. Coursed, squared and dressed limestone, large
dressed quoins, corrugated asbestos roof, original ashlar stack.
Square plan. 1 1/2 storeys, single bay. 3-light double-chamfered,
stone-mullioned casement with stopped hood, similar 2-light
casement in gable end. C19 plank door with strap hinges within
segmental headed surround below. Cottage occupies a prominent
position close to corner of Church Road and the main street.
