Dovecote and adjoining range to west containing former animal
shelter, stable and end cart shed. Probably late C18. Random
coursed rubble stone, stone slate roof. Rectangular 2-storey
dovecote in centre of long single storey range forming mostly blind
wall to north, much altered to right, but with 3-bay former animal
shelter to left with bays partly filled by plank walls, stable with
entrance on north side, and cart shed to end with double timber
doors on gable end. Dovecote has louvred ridge lantern with
pyramidal roof and stone ball finial, stable door and square
opening with timber lintels on ground floor, and square perch holes
throughout on inside, above a rat rail set just over 1m above floor
level. Freestanding 3-step mounting block to north side of
stable.
