8/4 Stable at Ashley Manor Farm

Stable. Probably late C18. Rubble stone with flush quoins, stone
slate roof with coped north verge and weathervane, and hipped south
end. Single storey with gabled loft entrance to left of centre
over segmental headed archway to square headed timber door frame,
no door. Two-light stone mullions flanking doorway, each lighting
one stall with original feeding rack and wooden manger but
replaced partition wall and doors. Third stall has smaller 2-light
stone mullion to far right with entrance on south gable end with
stable door under segmental arch and shuttered pitch hole over.
Small lean-to on north gable end and large lean-to to rear.
