8/9 Barn about 130m north west of
North Farmhouse
II

Large barn. Probably early C19. Rubble stone, random coursed,
with stone slate roof partly restored. Projecting gabled cart
entry on east side slightly left of centre with timber lintel and
double timber doors and small plank door with timber lintel on left
hand return of projection. Opposed projecting gabled entry on west
side. Nine bays, much of roof timber renewed with 2 trusses
probably in original form with cross braced collar beams. Three
slit vents at apex of each gable end with loft doors below, blocked
to south.
