Detached house, formerly a post office and probably originally 2
cottages. Probably early C17, raised and enlarged later C17.
Rubble stone with flush quoins, stone slate roof, rebuilt stone end
stacks. Single range of 2 storeys and attic in gable end with rear
single-storey wing to left, and C20 rear extension to right not of
special interest. Two windows, 2-light hollow moulded stone
mullions with square hoodmould, 3-light to left on ground floor and
similar 2-light to right, all leaded casements, flanking central
C20 door. Set into large expanse of wall. Small square light to
ground floor far left, in repointed masonry, possibly a former
doorway.
