One building divided into 3 cottages. C17, date 1684 said to be
scratched into render on gable but not visible at time of survey
(March 1986). Rubble stone mostly roughcast-faced, with flush
quoins, stone slate roof, rendered stacks including very large
ridge stack off-centre. U-shape range of 2 storeys and attic,
with 2 storey porch nearly central on south-west face on outer side
of U. Porch is gabled with 2-light stone mullion with square
hoodmould over Tudor arch moulded stone doorway with chamfered and
stopped jambs and square hoodmould, and original inner door with
vertical and horizontal battening. Shield shape impressed into
render between door and window. Flanking on first floor are 3-
light stone mullions, and one to left on ground floor, large C20
lean-to to right with corrugated roof, to far left is C20 window
and door. Right hand return all C20 fenestration. Left hand
return retains many 2 and 3-light stone mullions, some with square
hoodmould.
