Formerly 4 cottages semi-detached, now converted into 2 houses.
Early-mid C19. Coursed, squared and dressed limestone, thin stone
slate roof, ashlar stacks and C20 artificial stone stack. Long
rectangular plan with single-storey kitchen extension at rear of
Wheelwrights (left). C20 extension left of Wheelwrights and large
part-glazed porch at front not of special interest. Two C20 part-
glazed porches at front of Home Close not of special interest.
Two-storey, 8-windowed facade. C20 two-light wood casements with
glazing bars to Home Close. Plank door with single pane light
within right-hand porch. C20 part-glazed door within left-hand
porch. Central C19 plank door within gabled rustic porch to Home.
Two-light metal casements to Wheelwrights. C20 door with glazing
bars far left. C20 part-glazed door within porch. Axial stacks
with chamfered cappings and skirtings. Interior not inspected.
Good 'estate' cottages little modified externally.
