Semi-detached house. Possibly C15-C16, altered early-mid C19.
Coursed squared and dressed limestone with ashlar facade, slate
roof, rendered stack and C20 stone stack imitating ashlar, both
stacks to extension at rear formerly ashlar now brick and C20
stone. Rectangular main body with cross passage and later
extension at right angles at rear. Main body 2-storeys and attic
lit by two 2-light roof dormers. Three-bay, 2-windowed facade.
Sixteen-pane sashes with horns to left-hand bay. Twelve-pane
sashes with horns to right-hand bay. C19 six-panel door off-centre
right with 2 upper panels glazed. Boot scraper left of door.
Moulded stone gutter. Flat coping at gable ends.
Interior; C15-C16 stone pointed trefoil-headed door surround at
rear (possibly reused). Splays of former windows formerly lighting
rear wall (now blocked) still visible. Unusual roof construction
with spur from wall post to strut supporting principal rafter.
