House in row. Mid C17 with later kitchen extension at rear. Coursed roughly dressed limestone. Low pitched slate roof with two brick stacks. Rectangular plan to main body with single storey kitchen extension at rear. Three-storey, two-windowed facade (formerly twin-gabled). Two two-light stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods lighting second floor. Three-light stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods to first floor. Ground floor formerly lit by two-light and four-light stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods. Mullions to ground and second floor windows now removed. Large plate glass window with stopped hood left of front door. Probably C19 plank door with fillets within flat-chamfered basket-headed surround right. Stacks at gable ends of main body. Left-hand stack and stack to gable at rear with moulded capping.

Interior; basket-headed flat-chamfered stone fireplace on ground floor, similar fireplace with carved spandrels to first floor. Spine beam to ground floor with deep flat-chamfers and run-out stops. Through passage to rear decorated with painted panels illustrating a painter and decorator's samples of different types of painted wood graining within painted marbled surround. Painted scenes imitating framed pictures formerly visible on walls of downstairs rooms (in fragmentary condition and now covered up). Wood graining and paintings probably of mid-late C18 date. Roof truss with curved principals.
