Pair of semi-detached estate cottages. Mid Cl9. Coursed squared
and dressed limestone. Concrete tile roof. One C19 ashlar
stack, two other stacks restored in dressed stone C20. Long
rectangular plan. Two-storey 5-windowed facade. Two-light,
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements to first floor. Single
light, 2 and 3-light stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods
to ground floor. All casements possibly original with closely
spaced glazing bars. C20 part-glazed front doors. Flat canopies
with moulded margins on moulded brackets. Roof with continuous
outshut at rear. Axial stack and gable-end stacks, all with
moulded cappings. Flat coping at gable ends. Interior not
inspected. Coursed squared and dressed limestone wall to left
about 3m in height running up to wall running along south side of
street (q.v.).
