Cottage in row, (see also Tagley Cottage, Vine Cottage and Jasmine
Cottage). C18. Coursed squared and dressed limestone.
Stone slate roof, ashlar stack, restored in brick. Rectangular
plan to main body. Later lean-to at rear not of special interest.
Two storeys and attic. Three-windowed facade. Two 2-light double-
chamfered stone-mullioned casements to first floor; single light
casement to right-hand bay. One 2 and one 3-light double-chamfered
stone-mullioned casement to ground floor. C20 glazed door to right
within flat-chamfered surround with inscription 'I.H. 1757' in
raised lettering on lintel. Flat canopy with moulded margin on
moulded stone brackets. C19 four-panel door far left with
inscription '17 RHE 03' in raised lettering on lintel, within
latticework porch with flat leaded roof. Gabled roof dormer. Some
casements with leaded panes, some with horizontal glazing bars.
Interior not inspected.
