Former vicarage, now house. Late C18 (possibly on site of earlier
house), extended c1822 by a member of the Dutton family. Ashlar.
Stone slate roof with ashlar stacks. 'T'-shaped plan with early
C19 extension to left of range at rear. Main body; two storeys and
attic. Symmetrical, 3-windowed late C18-early C19 facade. Twelve-
pane sashes to first floor. Tripartite sashes with glazing bars to
ground floor. Three 2-light gabled roof dormers with hung slate on
returns. Central 6-panel door with 2 upper panels glazed within
round-headed surround with fanlight. Open-sided porch with
triangular pediment supported on thin Doric columns. Two, 2-light
stone-mullioned casements with leaded panes and two double-
chamfered stone-mullioned surrounds with stopped hoods to left-hand
return lighting basement. Two, 12-pane sashes and one 8-pane sash
to upper floors. Canted 3-storey bay at rear with 15-pane sashes
to first floor. Possibly original 12-pane sashes to second floor.
Flat coping at gable ends. Gable-end stacks.
Interior; late C18 early C19 staircase with stick balusters and
treads with bracket decoration. Limited interior inspection.
