Wall, gates and gate piers. Mid C19. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone. Mostly drystone. Cast iron gates with ashlar piers.
Height c2.5m with flat coping. The wall curves along the roadside
from the gates to Barrington Park (q.v.) and includes a single C20
plank door to the garden of No 60. The gates to Barrington
comprise a pair of double barred iron gates, with a single-width
gate to right. Both gates have spear-headed decoration and wrought
iron scrollwork at the top and are flanked by ashlar piers with
raised panels on their sides and projecting cappings (Barrington
Park Estate).
