BARRINGTON GREAT BARRINGTON VILLAGE

Detached house, probably built for smith. Late C18-mid C19.
Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof with a
single ashlar stack. Rectangular main body with a later extension
rear right. Main body; 2 storeys with a symmetrical, 2-windowed
facade. Upper floor windows wooden casements with leaded panes
within flat-chamfered surrounds. Three segmental-headed metal
casements with leaded panes to the ground floor. Access via lean-
to extension at rear, probably orginally at centre of front.
Single ashlar stack with capping and skirting at the right gable
end of the main body. (Barrington Park Estate).
