House in row (formerly 2 houses). Late C18-early C19. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof with ashlar
stacks. Rectangular plan. Main body; 2 storeys and attic, lit by
a single 2-light roof dormer at rear. Single-storey store at left
gable end. Two-storey extension to the right gable end. Four-
windowed garden front to the main body. Two-light C20 wooden
casements with wooden lintels to the ground and first floors. C20
part-glazed door under an open-sided lean-to to the left. Flat
canopy over the door supported on moulded stone brackets. Two-
light casement inserted in former doorway with a similar canopy to
the right. Flat coping at gable ends. Gable-end stacks. Alley-
way through single-storey store at right gable end. Formerly
separate 2-storey, 3-windowed cottage to left. Former central
doorway with flat canopy supported on moulded brackets, now
partially blocked with a window inserted in the blocking. Roadside
front of main body; single 12-pane sash. C20 part-glazed door with
leaded panes at the top. Formerly separate cottage at the right
gable end lit by one 2-light and one 3-light stone-mullioned
casement both with stopped hoods. Plank door to alley-way on right
of the stone-mullioned windows. Similar door to alley-way at the
left gable end of the main body. Interior not inspected.
