II
Detached cottage. C19 with late C19 extension. Coursed squared
and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof with ashlar stacks.
Rectangular plan with later extension at rear. Two storeys.
Three-windowed facade lit by 2-light iron casements with diamond-
leaded panes and stopped hoods. Former central doorway now blocked
with window (as described) inserted in the blocking. Present
access via a C19 plank door with strap hinges to the extension at
rear. Flat-chamfered stone-mullioned window to the right of the
doorway. Gable-end stacks with moulded cappings and skirtings to
the main body. Interior not inspected.
