GV II
Lodge to Great Rissington Hill. Mid C19. Coursed roughly squared
and dressed limestone with dressed stone quoins. Stone slate roof
with ashlar stacks. Cross-shaped plan with some minor lean-to
extensions at rear. Single-storey. Tall 3-light double-chamfered
stone-mullioned casements with leaded panes and projecting hoods.
C19 plank door with fillets within a dressed stone surround to the
left-hand return of the west wing. Ogee-curved barge boarding at
eaves. Hipped gables. Central composite stack with four
diagonally set shafts with flat-chamfered cappings. Interior not
inspected.
