9/176 Lower Farm House

the description shall be amended to read:

Farmhouse, now house. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled
stone slate roof with stone-coped gable ends. 2-unit central-
entry plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window
range. 6-panelled door with heavy pegged frame set in ashlar
door case with bracketed open-pedimented hood. Flat stone arches
over 6/6-pane sashes. C19 plank door to rear outshut heightened
in mid C20. Interior: quarter-turn staircase; panelled doors and
shutters in moulded architraves; segmental keyed architrave to
fireplace on right.

Formerly two cottages in row, now one. Early-mid C19. Limestone
rubble. Stone slate roof. Ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan. l½
storeys. Two 2-light slate hung eaves dormers and two half-
dormers, all with wooden casements. Three 2-light wooden casements
with horizontal glazing bars within cambered-headed surrounds to
the ground floor. Two single lights and two 2-light casements with
timber lintels. One casement lies within the blocking of a
cambered-headed doorway. All casements with horizontal glazing
bars. C20 rendered gabled porch off-centre right with C20 studded
plank door. Axial stack with capping and skirting. Interior not
