Lower Farm House

Farmhouse, now house. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof with stone-coped gable ends. Two-unit central-entry plan with rear right wing. Two storeys; symmetrical three-window range. Six-panelled door with heavy pegged frame set in ashlar door case with bracketed open-pedimented hood. Flat stone arches over 6/6-pane sashes. C19 plank door to rear outshut heightened in mid C20. Interior: quarter-turn staircase; panelled doors and shutters in moulded architraves; segmental keyed architrave to fireplace on right.
