GV II
Small barn. Mid-late C18. Coursed squared and dressed limestone
with large dressed stone quoins. Corrugated iron roof to the barn.
Slate roof to the extension. Rectangular plan with an extension to
the right gable end. Brick extension to the left gable end, not of
special interest. High central double width entrance on the north
side facing the path to the church. Low almost single width
doorway in the wall opposite. Triangular ventilation slits in the
side walls and in the east gable end. Single-storey extension to
the right gable end. Interior; 3 bays with the original collar
and tie-beams and double butt purlins. This building forms part of
a close-knit group with the church and village hall, and is included
for group value.
