Detached house. Late C17-early C18, extended mid-late C20.
Ashlar facade otherwise coursed squared and finely dressed
limestone; C20 extensions coursed squared and dressed limestone.
Rectangular plan to the main body with C20 extensions at either
gable end. C20 extensions at rear, not of special interest.
Main body; 2 storeys and attic lit by two C20 hipped dormers.
Symmetrical, 3-windowed facade lit by 2-light stone-mullioned
casements with stopped hoods. Central C20 glazed door with leaded
panes within a flat-chamfered segmental-headed surround. Band
between the ground and first floor windows and over the first floor
windows, linking up to pilasters at the corners of the main body.
Single-storey flat-roofed C20 extension to right with a 4-light
stone-mullioned casement with central king mullion and stopped
hood. l½ storey extension to left with a 3-light stone-mullioned
casement with stopped hood to the ground floor and two 2-light C20
eaves dormers. C20 part-glazed door. Two plank garage doors to
the left. All windows to main body and extensions with leaded
panes. Coped gables. Gable-end stacks with skirtings and
moulded cappings. Interior; spine beam on ground floor.
