Village hall. Late C19. Coursed squared and dressed orange
limestone with cream coloured limestone quoins. Coursed squared
and dressed limestone stack to match. Slate roof. Rectangular
plan. C20 lean-to extension at the north-west corner, not of
special interest. Singe-storey. One 2-light and two 3-light
stone-mullioned fixed casements with Tudor-arched heads and carved
spandrels in the side facing the church. Similar 4-light casement
with a stopped hood and a relieving arch in the gable end facing
the churchyard entrance. Large C19 plank door within a flat-
chamfered 'Tudor'-arched surround to the west wall towards the
south gable end. Lateral stack with a moulded capping and skirting
projects from the west wall. Segmental-headed fireplace visible
from the exterior suggesting an extension was formerly intended on
this side. Interior not inspected. Strong group value with the
Church of St Mary (q.v.).
