Former pair of cottages built in 2 phases (now one house) adjoining
Church Farmhouse. Earliest phase late C17-early C18. Later
cottage C18. Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Concrete tile
roof. One original ashlar stack one C20 coursed squared and
dressed limestone stack. Rectangular plan with a wash-house
extension at the gable end. Main body; 2 storeys. Earlier part
(closest to the lane) with two 2-light stone-mullioned casements to
the first floor, one 3-light and two 2-light stone-mullioned
casements at rear. Fenestration otherwise comprises 2 and 3-light
metal casements. All windows with horizontal glazing bars. C19
plank door with a flat-arched surround to the earlier cottage. C20
part-glazed door within a dressed stone surround to the later
cottage. Axial and gable-end stacks with cappings and skirtings.
Interior not inspected.
