10/99 Hill Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Mid-late C17 with later extensions. Limestone rubble
with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof. Rectangular plan to
main body with later extensions to rear. Main body: 2 storeys
and attic. Two-windowed west front with one 2-light ovolo-moulded
stone-mullioned casements, one with a stopped hood; one 2-light
flat-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with a stopped hood
(possibly within the blocking of a former doorway); 3-light
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement above. Two-windowed
slate-hung half dormer. One single-light and two 2-light
casements all with timber lintels to the gable end facing the road.
Access via C19 plank door to the right-hand return of the later
extension. Interior not inspected.
