at Upper Farmhouse

GV II

Stable, dated 1828 on the gable end facing the road. Random
roughly squared and dressed limestone with dressed stone quoins;
stone slate roof. Rectangular plan partly extended out to form a
lean-to on the south. South front: stone steps up to central
plank door with raking roof; similar plank door below the landing.
C20 top-opening metal casement with glazing bars to the lean-to,
left of the steps. Segmental-headed top-opening casement to ground
floor of the west gable end. Small window/vent with dressed stone
surround towards the apex of the gable. Similar window/vent to
opposite gable end. Interior not inspected.
