17/168 Tarry Cottage


Detached cottage. Mid C17-early C18. Limestone rubble with
dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof; stacks restored C20 in
ashlar. Rectangular main body. C20 extension rear right, not of
special interest. Two-storey, 3-windowed facade lit by 2 and 3-
light flat-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with C19 metal
windows with horizontal glazing bars and early fastenings. Central
gabled C20 porch with a C20 plank door with a timber lintel.
Gable-end stacks. Interior not inspected.
